I'd reconsider using a 190xt for a pulling tractor. They have rearend issues. I have two and I have my share of problems with them. The rearends on them originally came from the D19. They just put bigger axles in them. My local tractor junk yard has at least 20 190xt's all of them with bad rearends.

Bigger pump sure does help. Higher volume lines and lazered out injector tips helped too. You can keep the stock turbo and it will work. Have the head worked on with bigger valves and some porting. The bigger turbo won't fit under the hood unless you make a tapered shim to tilt it in. You can pull in third gear on most tracks. Someone out there has a faster third gear to bring you up to around 10 MPH. Cost: about $4000.
