I just went to change the oil in my wd. nasty sludge. Oil pressure read fine though. I put on a new Allis Chalmers logo Agco filter #70240912v. There was verry low pressure. Messed around a little then tried a Hastings filter I had left over from when I had my B. Oil pressure was perfect. Have others had problems with agco filters?

Any oil filter that has a paper element on the W series engines is going to cause very low oil pressure. Just read something that said the AGCO filters have been using the paper type. There is a new WIX number that uses the old cotton filter media, 57011. Should fix your pressure problem.

yes, the old AGCOo andn WIX filters are crap. the newere AGCO filters are becoming available now. Make sure the get the stuffed cotton design like the B filter you had.--- or just forget it and stick with Hastings and Baldwin T300M or FRAM 159. those work good.
