Checked the compression on the old 17 last night. I am pleased to say that after the cylinder treatment, it checked from 1 to 4 at 110,110,115,115. I feel real good about these, so until I get more time to work on her I'll leave her alone. I still have that fast acceleration hesitation but hope to figure that out. I am looking for a temp gauge and sensor, NAPA?, a traction booster gauge, A TACH AND CABLE AGCO? or YT? and an ampmeter gauge NAPA? Thanks Jim

I was never able to find a new traction booster gauge anywhere. I think it's parts yards only. Even then I found that usually they were in worse shape than what I had. I had pulled less complex gauges apart and managed to get them working but I didn't have the guts with that one. YT used to have a sources and services book that had specialty rebuilders in it including gauges. I don't know if that's still available or not.

I guess unless I sell it I really don"t need one for my use. I won't be plowing or discing with a snap coupler emplement. Just would like to get it up to original. Other gauges can be substituted but not that one. Thanks for the reply. Jim
