B drawbar bolts, etc.

My B has two 3/4" bolts that will attach the drawbar. I Only see about 1/2" of thread to the bottom. Is that all ya get? Looks like it was tapped then plugged. One side was OK the other has worked on the thread a bit and seems a little loose.
One rear hub was a bit loose at center after I jacked it up. A couple of whacks on the nut and it seemed to tighten up OK. I'll have to watch it. Same side that had loose rim clamps I am patching up.

On the looseness, if you are saying the shaft has serious play, now is the time to fix it. The seals and bearings are available from agco. I don't think YT has them but you could check. I don't recall it being a lot of fun but it was the only way I could get rid of the grinding under load and I knew that wasn't good. People would use grease instead of oil to extend the life but by the time I replaced these, the seals were slivers and wouldn't have held any gear oil. I just remember a lot of pounding and cussing to get them out ;-).

So far I have been pretty easy on it due to wheel issues.

Chances are you aren't plowing with it and duty is light for most of our B's. Just talking about this, I was thinking about getting my perfectly restored one out of the barn (after some serious dusting ;-)) and dragging the driveway. It really gets the motivation going. They are sweet little machines. I've got an IB too that I really need to restore. It's like a B all compressed together, hardly larger than a garden tractor yet it's still all "B". If I just had some time!

Now I just need to collect enough jacks and tall stands to work on it safely. Even little tractor have some big parts to handle.
