grader/snow blade for B?

Did Allis ever do a blade attachment for the B? I have seen front blades for the small Farmalls.

I see some three point kits in the ads but they definitely don't look like anything that would have been originally put on at the factory. The lift arm attachment seems especially strange. Not sure how good they would be for reverse operation in snow.

I was thinking more along the lines of the blade that went on the WD with snap coupler. I was stoutly coupled thru the lower hook.

It's fairly easy to make one. Just make sure the push arms go all the way back to the Plow Brackets Or the Draw bar. A cable from the rear plow lift foward will lift it easly.

I've never seen a factory blade but several home grown ones. My experience with the B was that a back blade would work great for dragging with board reversed but it couldn't get enough traction to do justice to running it forward (angled of course). I found with both the B and C that I'd could instantly start digging holes with the tires with the blade angled but set forward. On the other hand, just taking and old cutting edge blade from a dozer and making a stiff drag worked great, actually better than even running the back blade reversed.

Personal opinion is any front blade on a wheel tractor smaller than say a D19 is probably not effective enough. A crawler is just made for it. I still have an HD7W for that.
