i was just wondering if there was an option for shuttle shift on a series 1 d17...i dont care if its factory or aftermarket

Yes shuttle shift was a factory option. It replaced the two speed Power Director. Was seen more often on fork lift and industrial models of each farm tractor but could be ordered on any. Not sure what would be involved in retro fitting. If you use your PTO for any serious work be advised that fitting a shuttle will make your shaft turn at a non standard speed, I belive faster.

i'd hate to lose the PD...kinda wanting to build a brush rake for the loader so i can pile brush up after i push it out with dozer...shuttle would make it go faster...i guess i need to find a track loader and kill both birds ;)
