Hello, I am looking at an AC 185 Diesel that is For Sale. It looks to be a good tractor do any of you AC Guy's have any input???? Thanks for your help!!!

I think I'm correct when I say that the 180 is not much different from the 185. the 180 we had at home had the 301 non turbo diesel and was an excellent engine. The tractor was very dependable, no major problems and it was worked hard and the work horse of the farm at that time. For its size it would get a lot done. We went to the 200 from there and still used the 180 along with it . We had very good experiences with both.

I did the search that I suggested. These are an excellent list of things to check. Doesn't mean the 185 isn't a great tractor but is just a list of things to look at.

Ponchobro, sorry I don't know a lot about this one but I believe it is a modernized D-19. Plug 185 into the search block at top of page and look at previous posts. Should be a good source of info. Far as i know it has a good reputation.
