the dip stick on left of gear shifter is going low alot and dip stick on right is over filling alot,a seal is bad,does anyone have a idea were to start looking,just was hoping someone has had this before and can give some good ideas ,thanks john

I have a 180 which is same. You have the rear PTO shaft and transmission input shaft that connect between the torque tube and transmission/diff case that have seals that can cause you have hydraulic oil from the torque tube leak into the gear lube in the transmission/diff case. Replacing either set of seals I think is going to require you to split the tractor between the two cases. If you run 80/90 gear lube in the trans/diff it"s kind of messy. I know some people now run universal trans/hyd oil in both cases so if you did that you could just use a small siphon pump to equalize oil the two case as needed as oil leaks from one to the other until you have time to replace the seals.
