It is a CatII. You cannot see the balls in the end of the lower lift arms, but they have the big holes. I seldom use the cross bar that goes in them. It is wide enough it also fits my 180's(2) lower lift arms even with the sway blocks in. I added the bracket for the tounge hitch from a WD45 I parted out. My dad started out with a C and we have worked our way up. The AC dealership was in the extended family, still is just don't sell tractors!

that sure looks alot stronger than using snap couplers...i havent had my '59 D17 long enuff to see what those pins will hold but i'd guess not as much as yours...my top link is similar but its got 5 or 6 settings

Wayne, That is so cool. I made the three point for my D-17. The mount at the lower lift arms on yours is very substantial. The third point on mine looks similar to yours. On mine, there is a plate that goes under the seat. To the rear of this plate is a heavy steel bar that runs across the plate. Connected to either end of the bar is a heavy steel strut the goes down and bolts into the the drawbar hangers - exactly like yours. Those bars insure that the plate only sees tension - no bending. I like your set up. It looks very substantial. Do you think it is catagory II? Mine is only cat I on the lift arms - top link might qualify as Cat II. I've also got two positions to put the top link - needed it for the different implements.

I took mine off and put it on my D-14 when I got it. Still use it a bunch.

Thanks for sharing this. Allis never advertised anything like this. I wonder if this may have been a prototype.
