I would like some input from you guys out there on your opinion of which tractor you would by if you had the choice between the two B or C. I have found a sweet little c with straight tin no rust no smoke belly mower doesnt jump out of any gear seems great for $1600. But I havent found a B yet. Your input is appreciated. I would realy rather have a D10, 12, or 14 but they are a little cashy for me. Thanks AJson

The C will turn a bit shorter which is handy for mowing. The final drive ratio in a C is slower than most Bs especialy early ones. 2nd gear in a C is perfect mowing speed. Around Here a C will sell a bit cheaper than a simlilar condition B. The B is narrower and is better suited for the 5" mowers than a C. For mowing the differances are nit pic for the most part. I would go with which ever can be had for the best deal. I agree with your thoughts on the D-10 and 12. They will do little that a B-C wont do unless you get one of the mega buck models with range trans, live power and 3 point. A D-14 however is comparatively cheap, around here at least, and has live power and the Power Director trans but a little large for most belly mower duty.
