The carb on my 1951 WD has been rebuilt. Since then, it does not always want to start right away. Sometimes it takes right off and other times it just turns over until it floods. If you then leave it sit for a couple minutes, it will start right up. I don't know that much about adjusting the carb. Can someone help me out on what adjustment I can try so that it will start easier. Thanks!

Sounds more like a flakey or weak spark issue...that was one of the symptoms of my coil going bad...I thought it was carb related too. Check your plugs and points first. Make sure everything is clean and hot.

For adjusting, the manuals say to start one full turn off of seat and tweak from there.
