How Bad did I get hurt?
I rebuilt a Gemmer stearing box for a B and traded it, a B tie rod, and the time to swap them out on the fellows B. Which was just under two hours. He paid me with a one bottom Allis pull type plow on rotted rubber, and a one bottom mounted plow with all the lift stuff. It was slightly over 200 miles one way. Took over 120 bucks worth of diesel.
I just welded up the drive wheel that had holes rusted in it. It will be fine. I bought a real good tire off a wrecked derby combine for 5 bucks.

Trade ya for the fuel OK? Plowz en parts is getten more valuable it seems, 'specialy that B plow mounting hardware. That 1X pull type on factory rubber tars is a nice find too. Should be a #1 but could be a #2 and tha would be a real nice find. I got a few parts laid away for special needs if you need any.

When I took the drive wheel off I pulled the clutch off. It looked like new. Looking at the mold board and land slide, along with how the clutch looked, I don"t think it has spent a lot of time in the ground. I don"t know the difference in the # 1 or #2 plows. This one has a spoked drive wheel. The land wheel is a Chevy wheel welded to a plate of some sort. The spoked wheel ia a 16 inch. The Chevy rim is a 15 inch. The fellow has had the plow over 40 years. I should have ask him if he still had the old wheel. I see that it would not be much of a chore to re rim the old spoked wheel if I had the center and spokes. The axle on the drive side shows no ware at all. Another reason I don"t think it was pulled much.
