D14 Implements

I recently acquired an AC D14 which doesn't have a 3 point hitch system. Since a 3-pt conversion kit is very expensive, I'm wondering if it would be smarter to search for implements that fit the hitch I have. Did AC make their own implements, and if so, are they difficult to find? I'm interested in finding things like a plow, disc, hayrake, auger, and also a snowblower...

Of course AC made their own implements, also short line companies made snap coupler implements. The 3 point system became the standard but that doesn't really mean it was better than the snap coupler, just the one that more people worked out patent issues with. Depending on where you live there may be lots of snap coupler implements around for very few. To be honest, regardless of which way it is, you will want to get a conversion so you can use both types of implements. The snap coupler implements attach quicker and easier than 3 point, but there are a lot of implements you will hard time finding in snap coupler because by now they are worn out and gone. A conversion that attaches to the original draw bar is around $300. I like the ones made by Cross Mfg. That is a lot cheaper than many implements, and the way it allows you to use snap coupler as well as 3 point implements, makes it a very good investment.

From what i see plows are cheap($50-$300) and seem to be everwhere, disc are expensive $500-$800 if in usable shape(bearings are very expensive), no hayrake made special for the snap coupler hitch i think, post hole diggers are usually $200-$400 and no snow blowers but snap coupler backblades i usually see for around $400-$500. Hope that long rambeling sentance is helpful.

I have a allis d14 for sale with good running tractor just looks rough along with the 3 pt hitch attachment a set of double bottom plows and a side mower all for 1500.00 if you come to get it I live in Pullman, Wv
