Where thinking of buying a CA Allis Chalmers tractor for $2,300. Sounds good, great shape. Wondering what it is worth.

sounds pretty high to me for a working tractor...i see them go for next to nothing at farm auctions and people drive em home...like somebody else said...if its restored or a show tractor its worth it or more...i got a neighbor with a good running farmall b and drag shredder he's been tryin to get $1500. for,for last year and a half...its still sitting in his yard

There's market value and utility value. I paid over market value for my WD because it was close to home. It has paid for itself and more. No regrets!

I bought a 1952 in nice shape. it came with a sickle mower, 6 foot disc, 2 barrel planter, 2 bottom plow, 3 bottom plow, spring tooth, pto post hole digger made for tractor, and almost a whole cultivator. i paid 3,000 for it and thought i got a really good deal as it makes a nice display. i have since added a rotobaler and am looking for a combine.

I bought a 1952 single front wheel CA complete with an A/C 3 row cultivator for $600.00. It needs paint and some mechanical work, but thought I did okay.

That"s real high if it"s just a working tractor.
