Can someone please advise what the plugs (mine are Champion W-14) should be gapped at??

I think M's used the UM engine, same as in the model U. The U is set at .35. the engine number should be on engine. look for it and see if it sas UM and then some numbers. if it says UM, it is set at .35

I have seen a number of parts with a UM cast into them so I assume it is a "U" engine. I'll use .035, thanks.
