I have a trip loader on my D15 11, how can I hook it up so I can raise the loader and not the 3 point. That way I can use a back blade and not take my loader off. Is there a hyd. valve I can add to do this ? don't know anything about this.

Thanks Dan

One way is to install a selector valve to witch between the lift and loader. Surplus Center has them as well as TSC.

You'd need to tie up the rear blade somehow.....or add a front mount pump/reservoir/hyd valve setup just to run the loader. Good time to switch to a hydraulic bucket.

We use a brass ball valve on or WD loader and it's been on there for years and we have never had a problem with it giving out. We installed it so we could bush hog.

You need to add a shutoff valve to your system- in the hose that goes to the loader boom. You say you have a trip loader- that means you have one hose that feeds two loader cylinders- just put a shutoff valve in that line- simple brass valve like used in water lines. OK, safety guy will say it will blow with hyd pressure---3200 lbs. Experience guy will say it will hold the loader up while you use the back blade. Or find a valve rated for 3200psi..... .bottom line is you just need to shut off the oil going to the boom cylinders.
