HI I need some help (info) on int. & ex valve stem length it seems that when a std length valve is used the adjustment screws run out of travel when a valve that is ,300 long is used the rocker adj. screws are in thr correct position but the rocker to valve is wrong when this motor came to our shop somebody had literaly beat 3/8 dimples in the valve cover to allow the rockers to move up higher into valve cover we have measured push rod length it's o/k lifters measure o/k it looks like the rockers might have the wrong profile but I'm not sure we are not sure of the tractor's past history but from the looks of it this motor has been into several times NEED HELP ASAP THANKS
