D14 and 3pt log spilitter

Hi has anyone ever used a log spiliter on a D14?
Is there any thing you have to do to make them work together? I tryed one and had to use the lever on the wheel and the log spiliter at same time. I have a good reach but not that good. any and all help I would be very thakful for.

The lever at the left of the steering wheel would have to be left in the up postion all the time to provide flow and make use of the splitter's valve.

However;..... .

The hydraulics on a D14 (& D15) are high pressure - low volume. Ususally they don't work well for logsplitters because of slow speed and were made for a one-way cylinder unless someone has installed a valve beyond for a two-way.

Incidently, where are you plumbing in the return?

Thanks. The return is on the rt. hand side ot the of the hydraulics case/body. someone had drilled a hole and taped it for a return line.
again I want to say thanks for the info.
