The WC/WD engine has a big plate on the right side of the engine that can be removed and the WD-45 doesn't have the plate. RIGHT. Thanks
The reason I ask is this summer I put a stronger running engine in my WC Speed patrol and never even looked close at the one I put in or the one I took out. Well the one I took out doesn't have the plate on the side and the one I put in does. So I want to make sure which engine I have in it. Thanks again

The WD45 engine definetely does not have the plate.....but there are WD replacement blocks out there without a plate on them to.....I have a couple of them. They have no engine number stamped on them behind the carb.

The plate is on the WD and WC and it is not on the WD-45.
