It has a gas engine and I'm not sure what year it is. Where is the serial number and how do I tell the year from the serial number. The hour meter is not origianl. The owner says that everything works good but he did just aquire it. It started and ran good when I looked at it. It has duals but the tires are worn. He says that it did not slip out of gear for him on the 14 mile drive home and is confident that it will not. He says that the three point hitch will lift anything you put on it but he didn't have anything to hook to it (he is a mechanic not a farmer) to prove it to me. Itlooks good but the paint is a little faded. The head is not painted so I assume it has been replace at some point. Is there any other questions I should ask this guy or things that I should look for. He wants $5000 for it but admitted that he was having trouble finding someone who wanted a gas engine and told me to make him an offer. It is for sale in North Central Ohio.

I just bought A 190xt diesel with a cab and heater for $2,300. It needs a little work but I'm going to fix it up and sell it and I planned on asking $4,500.
