just bought the tractor and not sure what model it is. there are different numbers on it at different places. where your left foot would be there's a # 226845 the six is hard to read it could be a G and the other side there's a number AM-4617-2 below the steering wheel on the side then there's an inspection cover with 208104 right next to your right leg. any help would be appreciated with model and hp specs thank you

I believe you should find the serial no. at the left (as viewed from the driver's seat) front end of the torque housing.

if it has 24 inch rear tires, and it has no main frame down the side of the motor, then it is the smaller B,C, or CA. look by the transmisison shift lever for a stamped number, not a cast number.---- If it has 28 inch tires and a c-channel frame dwon the side of the motor and in front of the radiator, then it could be a WC,WD or WD45. The WC has serial number on the rear axle pumpkin (center gear box). The newer WD has the nuber stamped into the alxe housing by the left brake lever housing. you can also go to the left of this page under "galleries" then "tractor photos", then type in "allis". then look at the tractors i suggested.

That info is not sufficient for me to tell. Go to the right column of this page and click on "Tractor Photos". Search for Allis tractors and look at all that are there. It sounds like a C, B, or CA.

Or you could post a picture in the "Help Identify" section. Let us know when you do because I rarely go to this section. It irritates me that so many of the responders there don't have a clue but are still giving advice.
