hey all. i recently purchased a d21 and have a few questions. how do you check the transmission oil with the di[stick. it has a shaded area at the bottom and two lines above it. i know it is low and the dash light is on but which line is the full line? also how do you lower the three point? it has three levers: left and center remote hydraulics and right will raise three point when running but wont lower unless tractor is shut off. my dad owned one and said it it was a combintaon you had to do or sumthing.thanks for the help

Is the problem only without implements attached? If without, it takes a little weight to make it go down. Are the position and draft levers on fully down?

My 190 has a simular dipstick. The bottom mark is for cold level and the upper mark is the hot level. Your three point problem isn't unusual. Unless the hydraulic oil is warm, the three point will not drop without weight on it, or shutting the tractor off. I hope the 21 is a good tractor for you. It's an awesome machine.
