Does the pullwy run any time the engine is running and clutch out?? Or is there a lever that should shut it off. Just put one on my WC Speed patrol and it runs all the time and not sure if I have something missing or if thats just the way it will be. Thanks

old- scroll back about a page to a Warren Nelson post that I answered- full details on the belt pulley, install, on/off, adjusting to the proper hole in the sleeve, etc. Glad to see you have a speed patrol- would love to see that next to a silo, punching corn about 40 feet up, etc.!!!!! Would always be a great machine to clean up the spillage, instead of forking it!

I put an engine it it back around June and now tring to get some paint put on it so it will look better for a show. I'm not doing a full take apart as far as painting it but will at least make it look good at 20 foot. LOL

The belt pulley should have 2 grooves in the part that goes in the tractor. Pull the pulley out until the second groove appears, then stick the set screw back in. That is sort of a "transport" or dissengaged position. I had a WC at one time that had an aftermarket sliding engagment type deal.
