Can anyone tell me about my road grader. It's serial number is 1E3030 and the engine number is U3019-31? It has a wide front end

You have a 1948 Allis Chalmers W Patrol. Serial numbers for 1948 started at 1E2279 and ended with 1E3515. I attached a link of a restored W patrol. Hope this helps.

tell me more about it. Does it have 4 or 6 tires? Does it have to big hand wheels to work the blade or hyds?? Sorry the number don't say much to me. Allis made a lot of graders over the years and also pictures help a lot also.

Thanks for responding. It has 4 tires a wide front end. I believe some one took off the hand wheels and added hyds. It has a large hyds tank on front frame.

Sounds like it might be a WC Speed patrol but with out seeing a picture of it I can not be sure. I own one of them neat little grader.

I will try to post a photo of the Road Grader if I can figure out how to do it. Or If you wan't to email me with your email address I will send you a photo to see what your thoughts are. I would like to also figure out the year and what this type of Road Grader is and a range of what they are selling for. Your help will be much appreciated.
