My Dad has a late 40's vintage B that I would use to finish move about 2.5 acres of grass. Is there a way to add a belly mower and run off the PTO or do I have to get a pull behind?

yes, look at a WOODS mower, or type in mower on e-bay and look at them. basically there is a pulley on the pto shaft, and a beam cross bar that runs side to side between the final drive cases, about 2 feet below the seat. this bar beam has two small pulleys that point up at the pto drive pulley, and direct the belt turning 90 degrees toward the front of the tractor, under the transmission. the belly mower looks like a 3 blade unit off a large garden tractor or lawn mower. it might have a belt to run the three blades, and a seperate pulley driven from the back, or the entire unit might use one belt about 10 feet long that runs everything. if you have a Farm Store close to you, they probalby have a picture or unit to look at. you need a 60 inch to go tire to tire width.
