I have no idea how to put in right and how to put in rotor, just picked tractor up and am trying to get it running no spark and mag is not striaght up and down it is at an angle help please thanks Pete in Marquette

If you just picked it up, does it run? If it runs, the magneto is installed. The mag housing is designed to change the timing by rotating the magneto. Try and get it running before removing it. Once it is running, loosen the bolts and rotate while listening to the engine. When it runs the best, it is usually firing a bit before top dead center. This is an ok point to run unless you are cranking it by hand. Back fires happen with before TDC when using a hand crank. I can send you a written setup if you need to remove it.
