Where can I purchase an overruning clutch so I can run a rotary mower from the pto of my wd 45

As Kent says, it isn't absolutely necessary. However, it is absolutely an improvement with any tractor. I do my mowing with a D-14 or WD-45. With the over running clutch, it is easy to shift gears. Without it, gears grind. I won't mow without one. When I use the C, it is mandatory because there is no live power.

Most farm stores have them. I have a mail order source which costs about $38 delivered. Email if interested.

You can buy one at about any farm supply store. Your WD-45 is a live power tractor and you do not really need one. The over running clutch is for tractor WITHOUT live power so the energy in the rotating blade in a brush cutter will not push the tractor. On a WD or WD-45, if you use the hand clutch you disconnect the PTO from the rear end.
