WD 45 3 point

Just picked up a nice WD45. I got 3 point lift arms and arms to attatch to the tractor lifts. It looks like the lift arms go to pins on the drawbar support bracket. My question is, where does the top link go? I did not get a top link with the set up. Can I use a top link from the parts shop or do I need a special one. Thanks

I HAVE THE TWO EARS WELDED ON MY WD-45 FOR THE TOP LINK. IT WORKS VERY GOOD.

Hey Bob, My top link is welded around the lift shaft that crosses the axle. Is this where yours is located? Is yours held stationary in some way? Mine is not. I have a heck of a time keeping the top link adjusted. Any help appreciated.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "lift shaft that crosses the axle". AC put the top link brackets for the WD and CA at the center of the rock shaft which runs across the back of the tractor from one lift arm to the other and which rotates with the lift arms. The AC bracket is held in place by clamping around the shaft plus a set screw. D-10s and D-12 had a rock shaft similar to the CA. Factory 3-point hitches for the D-10 and D-12 had two ears welded to the lift shaft for the top link connection.
