We replaced the clutch disk,springs and seats, and the balls seats and the clutch still slips. Wonerndering if anyone had any ideas?

When you put it together, did you back the adjustment all the way out? After assembly, did you rotate the adjustment until it contacted the clutch and then back it off again 0.055". The long hub of the clutch is to be toward the differential.

If it is slipping, more than likely something is wrong with the assembly of the clutch release or the clutch is not on the shaft properly.

We have more than that for clearance. We"ve had it appart several times didn"t see anything wrong with it. We finally took it apart and machined .040" off of the housing that the throw out bearing pushes on so that the springs were under more compression. That seemed to help the most, but under heavy pull it still sliped. Also have read that the balls in there are supposed to help compress the clutch more, is that right?

No. The balls are for release only. The throw out bearing must have clearance from the clutch of 0.055". You should back of the adjustment totally. In this state, you should not be able to release the clutch to stop. Then you adjust it for the 0.055" clearance.
