Guys, have a wd allis... Looking for a good used 3-point hitch.. I have the factory swinging 3-point hitch which is a piece of crap!
Hate to spend 700.00 plus on a new 1...
If anyone has a good used 1, would be interested..

I bought the aftermarket three point hitch set up and I am basically pleased. The only problem I have is the top link hook-up simply loops around the two point crossbar and does not stay in position. When I use the post hole digger, the top link mooring does not allow the digger to lift high enough to suit me. I wonder if there is a way to secure this top link hitch to the crossbar in such a way that it is shorter and attached so that it does not move back and forth.

You could make your own for about $150. I've made 5 (not all for WD's).

The original Allis hitch is not a "piece of crap". It worked extremely well with Allis equipment. If you want to use someone else's equipment, a three point is the appropriate move. If you don't make your own, ther are several commercial units available for around $400.

Sorry don't have a used one, but $700 wow what kind was that? You need to get a conversion made by Cross, lot's of people sell them. They are under $400 I think.
