Hey guys, this is my first excursion over here on the orange board. I hang out over on the IH site. I went to a friends house today who has a beautiful model 60 combine with what appears to be the engine from a AC 'B' with it. He bought the place and wants me to help him find a new owner for the combine. Problem:I have no idea the worth of the unit. How can I go about finding him a fair price for this? I will have pics in a few days. Oh yeah, engine is not stuck, no apparent cracks or welds, and still has the mag and carb. Any help on this would sure be appreciated. I'm not using this as a forum to try and sell it, I really just don't know what I'm dealing with here. Thanks. Kevin

Usually a few hundred dollars, although most units don't have the engine power unit on them- so maybe some extra value for that. Lot depends on canvas and belt condition, since replacements can total several hundred more.

I just bought a 60 and a 66 combine at an auction. I got a very good deal on them. the one your friend has is probably worth about $100.00.
