Losing oil pressure!

My WC sarts with oil pressure around 18psi, but over about fifteen minutes, it drops to about 4. What's wrong? Is there a problem?

I have 2 friends who have been Allis dealers for a total of almost 60 years. I also have a 1946 WC. which had low oil pressure, The friends told me to replace the cam shaft bearings, that they are the most common problem for loss of oil pressure, on the WC . I am just about to find out if they are right. because I am almost ready to fire my WC up. And by the way my camshaft bearings were BAD BAD BAD! They had .011 to .015 wear. I BELIEVE IT IS COMMON FOR THE OIL PRESSURE TO DECREASE WHEN THE ENGINE WARMS UP. IS THIS AT IDLE WHEN IT DROPS TO 4PSI? WARN ENGINE BEARINGS USUALLY ARE THE CAUSE OF LOW OIL PRESSURE. A
HEAVIER GRADE OF OIL MIGHT HELP(20W-50).
