Value of a D-10

I have acquired a D-10 Tractor from my father, it is in good shape and in great running condition. I would like to sell it but am unaware of how to find out the value of it. Does anyone know, or can they direct me to a site or a book that could tell me. Please email me at [email protected]

A D-10 could go anywhere from $2000 to $5000 depending on condition, year and features. There was a major change during 1961 production. The earlier models had a smaller engine (138 ci) with less HP (about 29?) than the later models (149 ci and about 33 HP). The later models had independent PTO and all were independent hydraulics. Early D-10 with traction booster didn't have independent PTO, but some early models without traction booster had an engine mounted hydraulic pump for independent hydraulics. The latest models had optional draft sensitive 3-point hitches and a two-range transmission. All versions could have either AC's snap-coupler hitch or a three point hitch. In many ways an early D-10 is less desireable than a CA since it doesn't have the hand clutch for somewhat "live" PTO and should go for around $2000 in reasonable condition. A restored Series III with draft sensitive 3-point hitch, two-range transmissions and goodies like wheel weights and the mid-ship rock shaft can go for $5000.
