I have a 185 allis with several problems that i do not think are related. I was cutting hay a couple of days ago and it got hot. i cooled it down and blew out the radiator and started again. After an hour it began to get a little hot. Now it is blowing a lot of smoke out of the blowby pipe and there is a little drip of water that you can see while running it. Also the oil is getting way above the full mark. It is not water because it does not look milky. It has caused the oil to become thin, so i am thinking it could be diesel of hyd oil. Thanks for any help

Hi Brandon
No matter how you slice it it's going to be costly, I believe.First you need to check for anti freeze in the oil, by parking the tractor on the level over night or longer, take the drain plug out by hand and just let the first little bit out if there is anti-freeze in there it will come out firts, because oil floats on water. 301 engines don't take overheating very well.(they crack in 1400 different places on the heads)Hope this helps. Write or call with Questions or needs, or if you need parts [email protected]
Thanks,
:) Jerry

Try www. allischalmers .com, they can help for sure. The spaces need to be removed, this forum won't post the message with this website in it for some stupid reason.
