Howdy all, I'm looking for a rear tire on my D14, 136/12/26 is on the current tire. The local tire shop says $500-600 for the tire, and the onlyone I've found online is a 13.6/26 Firestone for $390.
Is this the best I'm likely to fond? Any sources of used tires?

Thanks, Tom Clayton in NC

Have you checked combine salvage yards? Lots of older combines used 26 inch rubber.

Nebraska tires has overstock and blemished tires. They don't carry (or at least advertise) anything smaller than 14.9-26 which is $250. You might email them and check though. I bought a set of 9.5-24 for $75 each a couple of months ago (they are now $95). Good people and good tires. Too bad you don't have 28". They cost almost half.

Thanks, Nebraska Tire says they only sell to commercial sites. I'm trying to get a local gas station/mechanic shop to accept a shipment from them.
