I started up my B It started then cut off. I checked the gas tank it was low so I added more. Now it will not start up. The Carb has gas driping out of it so its flooded Right! I pulled the Carb off put a new carb kit in and put it back on the B. Still will not start and gas still drips from carb. Looking for any help or tips. Thanks

the carburetor float has a hole in it, or the needle vavle has crud stuck on the seat. the bolw overflowing means it is not shutting off. carb float needs replaced, probably. shut off the fuel and let it set. come back later, if you crank long enough it will cleanup and start for a few minutes. with a leaking float, normally will not start- floods easy.

Driping gas from the carb says flooded. But you also nee to check for spark. Try this turn off the gas and try to start it. If/when is starts turn the gas on slow not all the way just a little at a time if it dies after you open it up all the way you still have a carb problem

I'm new to updraft carbs, but I believe that a over-running bowl would not flood the intake....just lose gas. I'd check for spark. Chuck
