I have read many postings about the F2 combine but I have not seen anybody describing how well they harvest soybeans and corn. We currently have a 1969 IH815 that does not do such a great job of harvesting so we purchased an F2. This will be our first year with this machine. Could anyone tell me how well these F2"s harvest and if this mahine will harvest better then our 815? Thank you in advance.

The F2 is an excellent machine- easy to adjust and repair. If yours is Serial # 39201 or above, it is the later F2, with the longer cleaning shoe. More cleaning capacity than the early F2 machines. Rock door gives you protection of the cylinder bars- make sure it is working properly, along with the indicator light.
