When I read the WD manual, I see refernce to a fuel filter. Where is is it located? Is there a NAPA number for a replacement?

The screen on a sediment bowl is under the gasket. Usually all the crud will just collect in the bowl. No need to clean the screen just take the bowl off and clean it. You can get replacement screens from AGCO or NAPA.

I wouldn't fight with the old assembly very much if it is giving fits. Like the bail nut being stiff or the upper assembly is warped. You can get replacements from NAPA for $10 to $20. Well worth the money and ends the problems.

Fuel filter and gasket are located on top of the sediment bowl, or fuel bowl. It is designed to be cleaned and you should not have to worry about buying a new one. I have seen felt filters and screen filters in them. I believe the felt was the original in the older tractors.

I should have mentioned earlier that the tractor is new to me and I have a metal sediment bowl that doesn't have a screen or gasket and wan't to get one.

We have the replacement sediment bowls in stock. We also offer a little clear inline fuel filter for additional filtration that may get throught he sediment bowl screen. Drop us a line if interested...
