Hi I have a CA 50 it has a new starter but it catchs a freind told me the fly wheel has a bad place and the tractor would have to be broke apart to fix it how hard is this to do thanks terry

only have to remove one bolt to pull the starter back out. why not look at the flywheel and see if you see any damage thru the starter hole? you can problaby lay under the tractor and look up thru the egg shaped hole and see the teeth from the bottom if you look at an angle.----- - tractor is not hard to split, but you need to block the rear end level, support under transmission, then have a motor hoist or trolly above the motor to roll the motor and axle forward. gas tank, hood and a fw other small things need off first.
