Allis B pulley speed

Can anyone tell me the belt pulley speed and p.t.o rpm for the Allis B as I intend to mount a rear saw bench on it (from the belt) and a log splitter on the front with hydraulics off the pto

Are you talking a rear cordwood saw like this one?:

If so, a 6" diameter driven pulley works very nicely for a 30" diameter saw blade. Here are the numbers for my '42B:

Engine rated governed speed = 1400 rpm (max unloaded=1600)
Belt Pulley at 1400 rpm engine = 1053 rpm
Pto at 1400 rpm engine = 560 rpm

The stock belt drive pulley is 8" in diameter. Using a 6" dia driven pulley gives an engine-to-saw arbor speed ratio of 1:1 (1053/1400 x 8/6). Using an engine idle speed of 475 rpm (spec), half throttle is around 950 rpm engine speed. With the 6" driven pulley the saw arbor will also be at 950 rpm at half throttle position. That puts a 30" dia saw blade at about 7500 sfpm, which is a good speed for cutting wood. That's how my B is set up. I run the engine at half throttle and the saw works beautifully.

I think later Bs have there governed speed increased by 100 rpm or so. I'm not sure what year that occurred.

with the motor running at rated speed (about 1600 rpm), the rear pto shaft will turn 540 rmp and the belt shaft out the left side of the pto will turn 1000 rpm.
