When I put away my G last year the clutch was working fine, now the clutch will not disengage the engine from the transmission. The only way to get the tractor in and out of gear is to force it. I do not have a lot of experience with this tractor. I did notice a connecting rod that goes from the foot pedal though a housing and then has a nut on the end of it. I tried to adjust the nut thinking that this may adjust the clutch travel but it did not help. Any thoughts? Thank you.

had to dig a mouse nest out of mine when I bought it. I'd pull the starter and see if somethings in there.

The G manual advises to use clutch pedal lock (at pedal) to prevent this during storage. When mine did this I started it in gear and drove it. It broke loose in short time. NOTE:This could be dangerous for the inexperienced.

The clutch plate is probably just sticking to the flywheel surface or pressure plate from non-use. Don't force it into gear untill it's working correctly.
Try putting it in high (with engine off), push down on pedal, and rock back and forth a few times.
If it was working b/4, it shouldn't need any adjustment.

Did just like you said and the clutch came free. I guess I will have to lock down the clutch pedal from now on durning storage.

Thank you.
