I have a MS TSX 154 carb on my B. I have rebuilt it before, and ran good. One side of the float does not float anymore. I rebuilt it last time, and just tweaked the other side to compensate.( I know) It worked great, but over the last three years, water got in it and it needs to be rebuilt again. Does anyone know where I can get a float, or can it be fixed? Also, I have been thinking about getting a spare. Has anyone replaced the MS with the Zenith, and does it fit without any modification? Thanks

Ken, The TSX-154 carb uses float number 30-600 Marvel Schebler old number or new number C85-148. Can get them if you can't find the right one. Local NAPA should have them or be able to get them too.

i found parts to rebuild my carb at my local auto store. i got a whole kit made by Hypro had all the gaskets and seals but if you wanted the float or throttle and choke shafts you had to order them special. price wasnt bad either lot better than my agco dealer.

I never thougt about checking NAPA. Our NAPA has a bunch of young guys who do not know much about tractors, so quit asking unless I had a part number.

Case/IH should have them or be able to get you one. This site probably has them. Also I know value bilt has them. Tring to fix them is a lost cause can be done but most of the time you end up makeing it to heavy to work any how.

Your right, this site has the float, although I do not know if it is the small bowl they talk about.
