I am looking to buy a WD the pto does not work. Are new parts available to make repairs. Such as grears, shafts or what ever is required. It has not been disassembled so I don"t know what parts are required.

What do you think is the problem, I think you should be able to find what you need without much trouble, the guys gave good advice about getting them, but seems pretty simple, if I remember right the pto clutch deal is a rod that goes down under the transmition a little box with the pto coming out of the back, can"t be much there, maybe a bad set of fingers on the deal that slides the gear in, never had one apart but don"t think there is much in there...

Yep you can get most of the parts new or used. I have a WD parts tractor with a PTO on it I'd sell.

An arco-ag dealer should have them or be able to get them.
But they are very high. I'd have to get $100 just for the shaft and thats less then half of what a new one would cost. I'd first check to see what you might ned to repair it since as I said parts for it are very high.
