I am planning on do a little bit of work on my tractor tonight. I am going to be replacing the spark plugs, wires, magneto cap and rotor and cleaning the air cleaner. Tractor hasn't been running as good as it did in the past and it's due for a tune up. While I have the cap off the mag I would like to replce anything else easy to access. I do not want to take the mag off the tractor since I know I need it to run in the next day or two and don't want to get myself into a mess trying to re-time it. Can I replace the condensor without taking the mag off? Can I replace the points as well?

You should be able to change both without removing the mag. However, changing the points will likely change the timing so you may need to make a slight adjustment in timing by rotating the mag a little.
