I've got an old B, sure was running kind've lousy, but thanks to the archives, she sure is runnin good today (well, was when I left Sunday). Between Rod and some others, went to the archives and straight to the posts on the mags. Had it apart, cleaned the cap and terminals, gapped at .020, back together, new wires, new plugs and cut a few acres of 2' tall field grass with a 59" Woods belly, that I usually get with a 950 Deere and a 5' bush hog. The B gets used for mowing around the house, that Deere that's been split, waiting for parts at the dealer for a month, usually gets that work. But, it sure was getting out of hand, and had to do something, and I'm only home on weekends. So, get the B running right again, or try that 5' bush hog behind a way, way too large 1000 RPM tractor, and watch it go boom-zoom to the moon. That little B made easy work of it. Just for the heck of it, I even tried it in 3rd for a short period just to prove a point, up a 20% grade, but I didn't want or need to beat the old girl, she's proven her point for like 60 years. But, she made the grade. That little girl sure carried more than her weight again. And, as always, I gave her a wipe down and a pat on the hood after parking her in the barn.If I didn't have over $6K in that 950 initially, and what's gonna be over $3K in almost impossible to get parts and repairs, it'd be gone. At close to $10K, guess I'm married to it, for now. Not one of my better investments. We all make mistakes, and the 950 was one. Thanks again all, and YT for the archives. Mark
