A friend of mine has an Allis Chalmers B on his property 3hrs away. We hunt the property and he would like to use it to mow the grass and brush. We got it running after sitting under a tarp for 12 yrs but the power adjust rims are shot and it needs new rear tires. Is there another rim that will fit on the power adjust spool pieces? Dollars are an issue as my friend doesn't want to put out over $1k in new rims, tubes and tires. Can't blame him. I know that replacement rims for my TO-20 were only in the $80 range. Big difference. He would like to go the used tire /rim route if possible. Thanks,

the B rims are 24 inch diameter and should be 8 inches wide. they have 4 bumps on the ID and use cam wedges to lock to the cast iron wheel hub that is about 20 inches in diameter. the 4 bolts that hold it on are same bolt pattern at a MF rim i believe. if you go to Miller TIre and look at the 24 inch rim with the 4 mounting LOOPS on the rim, i think that will fit the B. guys are right, if it is a B, it has CA rims.--- a B is three speed, wide front axle and the steering rod goes to the left front wheel king pin. CA is 4 speed and the steering rod goes to a gear box under the radiator and steers from that.

They make good old plain jane rims that will go on a B, I've never seen power adjust rims on a B, they are probably from a WD or some other tractor.

I am like Old, never seen or heard of power adjust rims on a B. They are probably off of a Allis model CA, which came with power adjust rims. Just find some rims off of either another B or C, both are standard rims. I bought Firestone tires for my C less than $100.00 each..HTH..Keith
