D-21 Purchase?

Hey, I need some help making a descion. I found a 1968 D-21 with 3 pt. and PTO in Washington for $5500. Bargain? Runs good, shifts good, left brake is only one that works, sheetmetal is about an 8 on a scale 1-10. Clutch is starting to slip a little. Brand new rear tires, paint OK. Need to replace seat and left hand battery box, chrome grill, has about 4,000 hours on complete rebuild, 7,000 overall. Inside and outside rear wheel weights. PTO and 3 pt. work great. I just kinda listed the things I know about it. Have some pics of it, but I was wondering what you guys think. Would cost about $1000 to ship it to my front door. Just post your opinion on it. Thanks PS I really want to buy a D-21, but is this price good? I know about the "Pay for how bad you want it", but I don't have that much money.

My estimator says a good D-21 is worth $5000 and a premium one is worth $6200. So your price is in the ball park. The clutch slipping is not a minor item if you plan to use it. Rear tires, however, are a real plus which might offset the clutch problem. $5000 seems like a good number to me.
