:I kow this response is old, but do you have the loader for a WD 45 available or know where a person could find one. : Just out of curiousity, if this is a AC manufactured (OEMed) loader, what is the model number shown on the plate on the side? : : : A number 17 will work on the 45 but the original had a different model designation though was effectively the same loader. I have a manual on it somewhere in the shop and will have to look it up. The Number 17 was made for the Allis' replacement for the WD-45 (the D-17). : : : Unless you have a serious problem with compression, you should be able to get it to start easier with several simple items (see the articles section of this site). Once it starts well, the 6 volt system should work fine given that it is in good shape. If you are working the tractor and must replace major components of the 6 volt system, then a 12-volt conversion is cheaper. If you are going to restore, keep it 6 volt. : : I have a loader for your WD45 I want $200.00 for it at my place no delivery thank you Dan
