Factory hydraulic system is fine for a loader with a trip bucket, but for two-way cylinders, like on a hydraulic bucket- you need auxiliary hydraulics. Front mount independent pump is the best system. Check the crankshaft pulley to see if it is drilled/tapped for mounting a shaft for a front pump. D17 II and later were, I'd imagine the D15 might be as well. Easy to hook up a system if you have that.

the factory hydraulic system is too small and does not hold enough oil for a good loader system. i assume you are using a seperate oil pump mounted on the front of the mtor crank shaft with a coupler? if not, that is what you should be looking at.

surpluls center sells pumps and hydraulic vavles if you are trying to build your own. if you dont know where to start you might look on e-bay or other guys and get a unit already setup for a small ALLIS or 8N FORD loader, etc. Biggest problem will be matching a coupling up to the crank shaft and making it fit.
