The alternator light on the console keeps coming on and I don't know why. Any thoughts on other items I should look at?

7060 black belly.
I replaced the alternator with a rebuild. I bought and replaced all 4 batteries? ugh!
I visually inspected the wiring harness. I checked the tension of the belts on the alternator.

When I replaced the alternator, the light went out and was back to normal for about a day. Then it turned back on.

any thoughts? I've been staring at the wiring diagram, but nothing is really jumping out at me.

Thanks.

I would check to see if alternator is charging and then see if it putting out correct voltage.

I have been having simular problems with my 7045.
My tack will only go up to about 1200 rpm the alternator is charging and i have cleaned the post at the alternator still no luck. I changed over to a delco alternator several years ago, as nobody in my area could work on the orignal.
